Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Leader to partner with Category Leaders and cross‑functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic sourcing initiatives across direct materials.

The role manages sourcing projects in GEP, runs RFx events, analyzes spend data, engages suppliers, and drives cost reduction, lead time, quality, and supply continuity while supporting overall business performance. Travel 1–20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant working experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Must have strong background using Excel
• History of making sourcing decisions with cross‑functional teams
• Strong communication abilities; both internal and external partners
• Project management skills, and ability to drive towards a target date
• Excellent data analysis capabilities
• Negotiation experience in a business‑to‑business setting

Responsibilities

• Partner with Category Leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies across direct material categories
• Lead and manage strategic sourcing projects within GEP, including project creation, RFx event execution, supplier engagement
• Conduct RFx analytics using standardized methodologies to evaluate supplier proposals and identify cost savings
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to identify VAVE and supplier transitions
• Serve as the Sourcing representative for project reviews, status updates, and reporting of financial results
• Support SWAP activities: spend analysis, market research, supplier identification, RFx development, and supplier negotiation
• Contract Award and Project Execution
