Job summary

Acuity Inc. seeks a Sourcing Leader to drive strategic sourcing across direct materials. You will partner with Category Leaders to manage RFx programs, conduct spend analysis, and engage suppliers to achieve cost, lead-time, quality, and continuity goals.

You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to implement value engineering and supplier transitions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role supports SWAP and reports on savings and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings is required.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Experience making sourcing decisions with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication with internal and external partners.
• Solid project management and meeting deadlines.
• Negotiation experience in B2B settings.
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Category Leaders to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects in GEP, including RFx events.
• Conduct RFx analytics to evaluate supplier proposals and cost savings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Serve as sourcing representative for project reviews and reporting.
• Support SWAP workflow: spend analysis, market research, supplier engagement, negotiations.
• Travel as required (1–20%).
