Job summary

Walmart in Bentonville, AR is seeking a Manager, Sourcing to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery across categories. You will negotiate pricing, assess factory capability, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners.

You’ll mentor a team, use digital tools to identify cost-saving opportunities, and align sourcing strategies with Merchandising, Product Development, and Operations to deliver value for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or Supply Chain with 3 years' sourcing experience or 5 years overall in sourcing.
• Bilingual in English and at least one business language for the assigned country.
• Project Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Align sourcing strategies with retail teams and manage critical issues during order execution.
• Oversee factory capability, capacity, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Conduct supplier assessments and develop supplier matrices for assigned categories.
• Negotiate product pricing and develop sourcing alternatives to meet objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and develop optimal sourcing solutions.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and mentor team members on sourcing activities.
• Monitor production through factory visits and assess supplier performance.
• Apply digital tools and continuous improvement practices to optimize sourcing processes.
