Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), based in Santa Clara, CA, is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing for semiconductors, ICs, DSPs, drivers, TIAs, laser control ICs, and other active electronic components used in optical networking products.

You will build executive relationships with key suppliers, drive cost-reduction initiatives, support NPI programs, and partner with Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure cost competitiveness, technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience in the semiconductor, electronics, optical module, or networking industries.
• Strong relationships with leading semiconductor suppliers and experience in supplier negotiations.
• Fluent English required; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for semiconductors, ICs, DSPs, drivers, TIAs, laser control ICs, power management devices, memory, and other active electronic components used in optical networking products.
• Build and maintain executive-level strategic relationships with key semiconductor manufacturers, distributors, and ecosystem partners.
• Drive supplier selection, qualification, and performance management processes to ensure optimal quality, delivery, cost, and technology roadmaps.
• Establish multi-source strategies where applicable to improve supply chain resilience and mitigate single-source risks.
