Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Manufacturing, Optoelectronics, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supplier development.
• Experience with connectors, cable assemblies, optical modules, or precision components.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of stamping, molding, electroplating, machining, tooling, or automated assembly.
• Strong cost analysis, negotiation, supplier management and cross‑functional communication.

Responsibilities

Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist

Location: Etters, PA

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate would combine strategic sourcing expertise with a solid understanding of engineered components and manufacturing processes. Experience with PCBs, metal and plastic prototyping methods, quick turnaround tooling, service agreements, vendor selection, and negotiations is critical to success in this role.

• Knowledge of stamping, injection moulding, electroplating, machining, tooling, or automated assembly.
• Strong cost-analysis, negotiation, supplier-management, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in communication connectors, switches, or optical communications.
• Basic understanding of high-speed signal testing (VNA, TDR) or environmental reliability testing is a plus.
