Ladders is seeking a Sr. Category Manager – Professional Services to own the category strategy and sourcing in the healthcare space. The role partners with senior leaders to deliver value, strengthen supplier performance, and adopt sourcing strategies.

It is a highly visible position that leads complex category initiatives, manages key vendor relationships, and mentors a procurement team in a fast-moving healthcare environment. Remote US-based, $115,000–$150,000/year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement and category management.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing events, from stakeholder alignment to award recommendations.
• Manage key supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement efforts.
• Directly supervise and mentor procurement team members to enhance performance.
• Champion change management to ensure adoption of procurement strategies.
