JD Power is seeking a Category Manager for Professional Services to lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations across talent-related services. This remote North America role partners with Legal, Finance, and business leaders to optimize costs and manage risk.

The successful candidate will demonstrate deep knowledge of staffing markets, HR compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable ROI and supplier value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, or related field.
• 8+ years of strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement experience.
• Proven cost savings, contract negotiations, and vendor management experience.
• Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, visa sponsorship, and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing/category strategies for talent-related services.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to understand capabilities and rates.
• Partner with stakeholders to define talent needs, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead RFx processes, vendor selection, and contract finalization.
• Negotiate favorable terms and ensure policy and risk compliance.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance on onboarding, contracting, and invoicing.
• Drive cost optimization and measurable ROI across talent categories.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop business cases for sourcing decisions and vendor recommendations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of staffing markets and professional services.
