Job summary

Humana is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Lead, Professional Services, for a temporary contractor role via Atrium. The role will lead sourcing initiatives across Consulting, Professional Services, and project-based engagements, partnering with business leaders to drive strategy through contracting.

The successful candidate will manage RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations, balancing value, risk, and total cost of ownership while coordinating with Finance, Legal, Risk, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.
• Experience sourcing Consulting/Professional Services.
• Ability to independently lead competitive sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
• Strong understanding of services pricing and pricing models.
• Strong analytical, financial, and supplier evaluation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives from intake to contracting.
• Develop RFIs, RFPs, bids, supplier evaluations, and negotiation strategies.
• Support complex Consulting/Professional Services engagements.
• Analyze supplier proposals, pricing models, spend, and total cost of ownership.
• Lead supplier negotiations and support development of agreements.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Risk, Technology and other functions.
• Provide flexible capacity across Professional Services and indirect spend areas.
