Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior Sourcing/Category Manager to lead end-to-end strategic sourcing across indirect categories within the Professional Services domain. You will drive RFx processes, conduct market research, and negotiate contracts that optimize value, risk, and cost containment.

The role requires 3+ years in indirect sourcing, strong financial analysis in Excel, and excellent communication. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT/security to align strategies and ensure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
3+ years of sourcing experience in indirect categories (not IT or Contingent Labor).
Basic financial analysis and cost-savings experience using Excel.
Excellent problem solving, customer service, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities including category strategy, RFx, supplier evaluation, market research, negotiations, and vendor performance monitoring.
Manage sourcing across benefits vendors (medical carriers, PBMs, TPAs/ASO, brokers) and related services.
Run RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, renewals, benchmarks, and market checks for fair comparisons and defensible outcomes.
Negotiate pricing, fees, rebates, SLA terms, data-access rights, and renewal protections.
Analyze proposals, claims trends, renewal projections, and PBM economics to support negotiations.
Deliver hard savings, cost avoidance, and value improvements through competitive sourcing and contract optimization.
Partner with Legal, Finance, IT/security, and stakeholders to align strategies and risk considerations.
Ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, and plan-document requirements.
Develop and manage vendor governance tools like scorecards and QBR/BR materials.
Monitor performance against contracts and drive issue resolution when gaps arise.
Maintain audit-ready documentation across sourcing activities and contracts.
Demonstrate project management, executive communication, and leadership in high-visibility projects.
