Job summary

Google's Procurement Organization (GPO) is seeking a Category Manager to shape and drive comprehensive procurement strategies across Product Areas and Functions. You will partner with stakeholders to align global objectives with business goals and pioneer data-driven category and sourcing approaches.

In this role you will manage indirect spend, lead RFx processes and negotiations, build strategic supplier relationships, and deliver value through efficient contracting and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in sourcing, category management, or procurement with indirect spend focus.
• Experience drafting/reviewing contracts and collaborating with contracting teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between GPO and Product Areas/Functions; align requirements with procurement objectives.
• Lead RFx execution, negotiations, and supplier evaluations for indirect spend.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure value delivery.
