NRG Energy, via Vivint Smart Home, seeks a Hardware Strategic Sourcing Manager based in Seattle. The role requires in-office presence on a hybrid schedule with cross-functional collaboration across Hardware Engineering, Program Management, and Operations.

You will lead supplier selection, negotiate terms, develop strategic supplier roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of critical parts while meeting quality and yield requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain management, or engineering.
• 5–7 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing or sourcing.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in a consumer electronics product company.
• Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead supplier sourcing and selection activities with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and other partners.
• Negotiate agreements to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, and terms.
• Develop and own supplier/commodity/category sourcing strategies to meet current and future needs.
• Own ramp, production planning, and supplier life-cycle for designated suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive risk mitigation and contingency plans.
