Job summary

Magic Spoon Inc. is seeking a procurement lead to own sourcing across raw materials and packaging, drive supplier negotiations, and support product commercialization.

The role blends strategic projects with day-to-day supplier management, and offers a hybrid NYC-based setup with some remote flexibility and travel to NYC HQ and suppliers. You will execute bids, manage contracts, and monitor markets for cost savings while collaborating with R&D, Quality and Finance to align procurement with

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in procurement or sourcing within CPG or food & beverage.
• Experience running competitive bidding and supplier negotiations.
• Strong analytical and cost modeling skills.
• Experience with raw materials and packaging in food manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing across materials and packaging; lead bids, evaluations and price negotiations.
• Manage supplier and co-manufacturer relationships, contracts and performance.
• Oversee procurement planning aligning lead times with production forecasts.
• Support commercialization by sourcing ingredients and packaging with R&D.
• Monitor markets to identify cost risks, disruptions and savings.
• Maintain procurement data (contracts, pricing, trackers).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Finance and others.
• Potentially manage a remote, offshore employee.
