Job summary

HelloFresh in New York is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join the Packaging Strategic Procurement team. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve cost structure, product quality, and supply chain reliability, and support innovation through new product development.

You will own SKU ideation, vendor onboarding, price negotiations, contract management, and end-to-end sourcing process improvements, driving profitability and a data-driven culture across HelloFresh’s

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations and strategic sourcing.
• 3+ years of packaging sourcing experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite.
• Experience leading large initiatives and sourcing events.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned categories to develop and optimize our supply network.
• Refine and implement sourcing strategy to optimize process, reduce risk, and improve cost structure.
• Build and maintain a strong supplier base; manage performance and innovation activities.
• Lead cost savings initiatives through strategic sourcing to hit budgets.
• Leverage data and benchmarks to drive cost reduction and best practices.
• Onboard new vendors and SKUs to drive savings and improve experience.
• Ensure quality specifications and manage issues affecting ingredients.
• Collaborate with Procurement Operations to set execution plans and monitor contract compliance.
