Job summary

Boyd Corporation is seeking a Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager based in Seattle to lead supplier relationships and strategic sourcing across commodities used in electronics, medical, and industrial markets.

You will drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and lifecycle management of contracts, collaborating with sales, finance, and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory. Seattle-based, on-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g., Supply Chain or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in commodity management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills; able to manage cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial relationships with suppliers to secure cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Develop and implement commodity strategies aligned with strategic sourcing direction.
• Drive supplier performance, contracts, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Oversee supplier lifecycle, PPV activities, budgeting, and price negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
