Job summary

Boyd Corporation, a global leader in engineered materials, seeks a Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager based in Seattle, WA. You will oversee supplier relationships, implement commodity strategies, and drive sourcing initiatives to ensure quality, on‑time delivery, and cost efficiency across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include contract management, KPI tracking, and cross‑functional collaboration with sales, finance, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in commodity management.
Proficiency with MS Office and Epicor ERP; ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier relationships and secure cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Develop commodity strategies aligned with business goals and supplier performance.
Drive strategic sourcing and cost reduction opportunities across commodities.
Oversee supplier performance via KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost.
Manage supplier contracts lifecycle, including renewals and legal review.
Coordinate with sales, finance, manufacturing to optimize supply chain.
