Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s Product Development Center (PDC) in Wauwatosa, WI invites a Manager of Sourcing and Supplier Management for Brakes and Suspension. You will own end-to-end supply performance, lead supplier development, sourcing, contracting and category strategies for motorcycle components.

The role requires a strong leader who can drive savings, govern global sourcing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, logistics and finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sourcing/Category Management at an industrial or engineered products manufacturer.
• Experience leading procurement transformation efforts.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with category management, multi-step strategic sourcing processes, RFPs/eAuctions, and should-cost models.
• Deep experience in direct material strategic sourcing in Harley-Davidson relevant categories.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assure sourcing execution and define the optimal contracting approach for the Category Group.
• Define and implement Global Sourcing strategies to achieve net cost savings and mitigate inflation.
• Establish global spend visibility and track go-forward impact.
• Partner with Finance to link Sourcing savings to the budget.
• Develop supplier management practices including scorecards and business reviews.
