Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Mooresville, NC is offering a Strategic Sourcing Intern role at our corporate headquarters.

You will gain hands-on experience in how a Fortune 100 company sources, negotiates, and manages supplier relationships to deliver value across the enterprise. You’ll work with sourcing and procurement leaders to analyze proposals, support category strategies, and develop skills in negotiation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration during the 10-week summer program

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies across multiple categories.
• Conduct supplier research and analyze market trends to support decision-making.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and participate in negotiations to drive cost savings and value.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (finance, legal, operations, and merchandising) to align sourcing strategies with business needs.
• Support contract management activities, including compliance tracking and performance reporting.
• Gain exposure to supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives within sourcing.

Summer Internship Program

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (specifically in Power Point, Excel and data analysis tools).
• Communication skills must be comfortable speaking with to a variety of people.
• Financial acumen must be able to work with numbers and easily discuss.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, problem solving, analytical, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant internship or experience with project management, supply chain, finance, sourcing or procurement is a plus.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.
