OUC - The Reliable One is offering an internship in the Financial & Support division to provide real-world experience by partnering with energy leaders and professionals. The Strategic Sourcing Intern will collaborate with the Strategic Sourcing team and gain exposure to supplier reviews, contract terms, spend analysis, and contract lifecycle management.

The program emphasizes learning OUC terms, delivering value, and developing analytical and organizational skills in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Academic status of Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
• Program of study: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Integrated Business or Pre-Law
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyers in conducting supplier reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review contract terms and enter relevant information into the E1 system.
• Update the Address Book database on an as-needed basis.
• Perform spend analysis for various business units to support purchasing decisions.
• Learn standard OUC terms and conditions, including scope, deliverables, pricing structure, schedule, and payment expectations.
• Understand Contract lifecycle including contract initiation and ongoing management.

OUC - The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the Financial & Support division. The OUC Internship Program is dedicated to providing students with real-world, hands-on experience by partnering with energy leaders and experienced professionals, while bringing new and out-of-the-box perspectives and ideas that are essential for fostering the creativity and growth of any business.

We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Intern. During this internship, you will be partnering with the Strategic Sourcing team.

You will be involved in:

• Assist buyers in conducting supplier reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review contract terms and enter relevant information into the E1 system.
• Update the Address Book database on an as-needed basis.
• Perform spend analysis for various business units to support purchasing decisions.
• Learn standard OUC terms and conditions, including scope, deliverables, pricing structure, schedule, and payment expectations.
• Understand Contract lifecycle including contract initiation and ongoing management.

Internship Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Academic status of Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
• Program of study: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Integrated Business or Pre-Law
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous internship experience preferred

Compensation

$15.50 per hour, varies depending on the education level

Schedule

Part-Time (up to 25 hours per week) from January 11th, 2027 to May 7th, 2027 following a Hybrid Schedule
