Job summary

OUC - The Reliable One is offering an internship in the Financial & Support division. The Strategic Sourcing Intern will partner with the Strategic Sourcing team to gain hands-on experience in supplier reviews, contract terms, and spend analysis.

The role emphasizes learning OUC terms, contract lifecycle, and data systems; ideal candidates are currently enrolled, have a GPA of 3.0+, and are pursuing Business Admin, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Integrated Business or Pre-Law.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and eligible to work in the United States.
• Academic status of Sophomore, Junior or Senior with GPA 3.0 or above.
• Pursuing programs in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Integrated Business or Pre-Law.
• Previous internship experience preferred; able to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyers in conducting supplier reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Review contract terms and enter relevant information into the E1 system.
• Update the Address Book database on an as-needed basis.
• Perform spend analysis to support purchasing decisions.
• Learn standard OUC terms and conditions, including scope, deliverables, pricing, schedule and payment expectations.
• Understand the contract lifecycle from initiation to ongoing management.
