Job summary

OUC - The Reliable One is seeking a Buyer (Procurement & Contracts Agent) to join the Financial & Support Services division in Orlando. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement, competitive solicitations, contract development, and strong supplier relationship management in a regulated public-sector context.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain, with CPPB/CPSM/CPP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in finance, business, accounting, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Public procurement knowledge and related certifications (CPPB, CPSM, CPP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and award procurements; draft and administer contracts; create and process POs.
• Analyze market research and supplier information for cost-effective pricing.
• Coordinate evaluation committee meetings and provide feedback on decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers; monitor performance and risk.
