Job summary

HCSC, a leading health plan, seeks a Strategic Sourcing Senior Advisor to partner with business leaders on complex procurement initiatives. You will manage sourcing workstreams and negotiate MSAs/SOWs across key enterprise categories.

You will analyze supplier and market data to identify savings, craft actionable recommendations, and influence stakeholders to drive measurable business results in a hybrid Chicago environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement/ category management experience.
• Strong MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strategic thinker who can influence executives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical mindset with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Own complex sourcing workstreams from problem definition to execution.
• Lead negotiations and develop supplier agreements including MSAs and SOWs.
• Analyze financial and market data to identify savings opportunities.
• Develop clear recommendations and translate analyses into actions.
• Act as trusted advisor and align stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams and coach colleagues.
