Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks a Senior Sourcing & Vendor Strategy Analytics Leader to guide a team delivering data‑driven insights across spend, contracts, and supplier performance. You will establish data governance, partner with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and stakeholders to drive cost optimization and risk mitigation.

This hybrid role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and advanced analytics skills, with exposure to Python, Power BI, and data quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance OR 4 years’ experience.
• 7 years’ experience interfacing with internal stakeholders and/or internal clients.
• 7 years’ experience requiring data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data.
• 4 years’ leadership experience, including 2 years in a management position.
• Experience with vendor contracts, key metadata, and the high‑level products and services procured by a large services organization.
• Demonstrated experience applying quantitative and qualitative standards, performance measures, and statistical methodologies.
• Negotiation, decision‑making, and analytical skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analytics professionals supporting Strategic Sourcing, Contracting, and Vendor Management functions.
• Develop data‑driven visualizations and executive‑level insights.
• Establish data governance standards and accountability for procurement data assets.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders.
