Job summary

UCI Health seeks a System Director, Strategic Sourcing and Contracting to lead enterprise sourcing and contracting across the organization. You will steer market analyses, supplier strategy, and competitive sourcing events while ensuring value analysis governance and contract lifecycle management.

This role oversees teams and partners with clinical and executive leaders to optimize patient care and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of progressive experience in healthcare supply chain, procurement, or strategic sourcing.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical supply chains and value analysis programs.
• Strong analytical skills including financial modeling and spend analysis.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
• Minimum of 3 years in an executive leadership role (Director or higher) in a related setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise sourcing strategies and systemwide contracting initiatives.
• Oversee full sourcing lifecycle: market analysis, supplier strategy, and negotiations.
• Govern value analysis and contract lifecycle management across UCI Health.
• Mentor Strategic Sourcing Analysts and Contract Administrators.
• Collaborate with physician leaders, finance, and executive leadership to align with patient care and financial goals.
