Job summary

UCI Health in Anaheim, CA is seeking a strategic sourcing professional to lead value analysis initiatives across clinical and non-clinical categories. You will work with procurement, clinicians, and leadership to develop sourcing strategies that improve quality and drive savings.

The role requires strong analytics, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage complex projects with autonomy. You will help standardize processes, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms to support UCI

Qualifications

Three years of experience in hospital or large healthcare system procurement or equivalent University purchasing experience.
Advanced Excel proficiency with complex analyses and pivot tables.
Experience with MMIS, e-commerce, and contract negotiations; ability to articulate savings and justification.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies that deliver best-practice strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
Identify projects to apply sourcing/purchasing methods to leverage purchase volume and rationalize suppliers.
Partner with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and share marketplace trends.
Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution with autonomy.
