Job summary

Allesco Industries is seeking a Planning, Costing, and Sourcing Associate to support purchasing, product sourcing, inventory planning, and customer quotations. This role emphasizes data analysis, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in purchasing or costing, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, or Finance.
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or costing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to support pricing decisions.
• Develop new domestic and international supplier relationships.
• Compare supplier pricing, lead times, quality, and capabilities.
• Assist with inventory planning and replenishment.
• Monitor purchasing trends, material costs, and market conditions.
• Support vendor negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain accurate costing, sourcing, and purchasing records.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, customer service, and suppliers to meet customer requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools to analyze purchasing and inventory data.
• Assist with special projects related to procurement, sourcing, and operational efficiency.
