Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, finance, operations management or a closely related field.
• Five (5)+ years of progressively responsible procurement/contract management experience, including supervisory responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates the Procurement Section's work and budget.
• Manages bid processes, contracts and supplier relationships.
• Ensures compliance with laws, codes, policies and district procedures.
• Leads staff development, performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Coordinates with district departments to support procurement of goods and services.
• Provides guidance on market trends, sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
