Job description

We are seeking experienced Strategic Sourcing Consultants to join our team.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, category management, and procurement transformation, with proven ability to lead client-facing engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct strategic sourcing activities, including market analysis, category strategy development, supplier negotiations, and RFP execution.
2. Develop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and process efficiencies.
3. Lead sourcing execution workstreams, working directly with clients to guide procurement best practices.
4. Analyze supplier proposals and make strategic recommendations to optimize value.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to support procurement transformation initiatives.
6. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize cost transformation opportunities through in-depth spend analysis.
7. Perform cleansing, classification/categorization, and presentation of spend analysis data.
8. Understand classification schemas such as UNSPC, eClass, NIGP, SIC, among others.
9. Conduct category-specific secondary market research to develop strong recommendations.
10. Develop and customize RFX templates and pricing worksheets.
11. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Senior Consultant: Minimum 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing.
• Prior experience in management consulting or procurement transformation.
• Experience working with North American or European clients.
• Strong consulting background, ideally from Big 4, Accenture, or specialized sourcing firms.
• Experience leading sourcing execution workstreams and working directly with clients.
• Expertise in RFP development, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent team player.
