Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in supply chain or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years in purchasing, supply chain or related field.
• Fluent in English both written and verbal.
• Experience with supply chain concepts and methodologies in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with project leadership ability.
• Able to prioritize and allocate resources to meet goals.
• Proven track record delivering results and achieving set goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build relationships.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for strategic sourcing and commodity strategy to support business goals.
• Analyze spend management opportunities and deploy strategic plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align commodity strategy with business initiatives.
• Manage critical supplier agreements including new sources and renewals.
• Negotiate high-level complex contracts to deliver results.
• Build partnerships with key suppliers to achieve outcomes.
• Research supply markets and commodity trends.
• Coordinate with Procurement Managers to execute commodity strategy.
• Drive strategic sourcing plans to achieve savings and performance targets.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier performance and lead improvement teams as needed.
• Assess risk and ensure supply continuity with contingency plans.
