Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles seeks an entry-level purchasing professional to maintain supplier relationships and support cost reductions. You will assist in selecting suppliers, address delivery/quality issues, and source materials for new product launches at our Augusta, Georgia site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field required.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships and act as primary point of contact for communications.
• Identify and implement supplier cost reductions.
• Assist in selection and management of new and current suppliers.
• Support materials and quality teams to address supplier delivery and quality issues.
• Source materials for new product launches and model changes.
• Assist in supplier transition processes between external suppliers and in-house production.
• Coordinate RFQ packages with supply base to ensure competitive pricing.
• Manage materials projects using problem solving, factory data, and lean concepts.
• Foster a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion.
