Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will drive supplier cost reductions and manage supplier relationships for materials across product launches and model changes.

You will perform make vs. buy analyses, support delivery and quality improvements, and coordinate RFQ packages to secure premium pricing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, business, or related field.
2+ years with degree or 5+ years without degree required/relevant experience.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP and Teamscenter preferred.
APICS or ISM supply chain certification preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical illustrations; apply mathematical concepts.
Comfort with AI-enabled tools and evaluating AI outputs ethically.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to identify and implement supplier cost reductions.
Assist in selection and management of new and current suppliers.
Perform make vs. buy analyses to optimize materials sourcing.
Support materials and quality teams to identify supplier delivery and quality issues.
Source materials for new product launches and model changes.
Coordinate supplier transition by reallocating work between suppliers and in-house production.
Prepare RFQ packages with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
Collaborate with finance to ensure timely supplier payments.
Manage materials projects using problem-solving, factory data, and lean concepts.
