Woodward FST is seeking an experienced supplier management professional to develop and support supply chain strategies across Level I and Level II roles in a global environment.

Travel is approximately 50% and the role requires leading supplier qualification, ASL creation, and quality enhancements using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. A bachelor's degree in engineering and several years in supply chain are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Level I requires 4+ years of experience, Level II requires 8+ years.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and Lean Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO-9001, TS-16949, NADCAP, AS13100.

Responsabilités

• Develop and support supply chain and sourcing strategies to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Act as a technical specialist within product categories and lead creation of an Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Manage supplier lifecycle from discovery through onboarding, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Define and drive source selection decisions with global strategies.
• Lead supplier discovery and assess new technologies to meet needs.
• Support product roadmaps, design reviews, and production readiness for launches.
• Drive cost reductions via VAVE and Lean/Six Sigma improvements.
• Deploy quality tools (PFMEA, SPC, 8D) to ensure supplier compliance.
• Lead development plans with suppliers and mentor SQEs, SDEs, CQEs.
