Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Manager in New Jersey to oversee end-to-end strategic sourcing for enterprise software, including complex SaaS and perpetual licenses. You will drive licensing optimization, manage renewals, and collaborate with IT, Security and Legal to meet technical and commercial requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in procurement, deep licensing knowledge and experience with major software suppliers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management experience.
• Direct experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user).
• Strong analytical skills with spend data and TCO modeling.
• Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, etc).
• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Flexera, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases, including RFx and enterprise agreements.
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts and optimize license terms.
• Analyze utilization to identify cost savings and license optimization.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders on supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate complex SaaS and perpetual licenses, including pricing and SLAs.
• Maintain supplier relationships through reviews and issue resolution.
• Provide market insights to inform broader category strategy.
• Engage in special projects as assigned.
