Job summary

Confidential Careers in New Jersey seeks an IT Sourcing professional to lead end-to-end procurement initiatives for hardware, software, SaaS, networks, and data center services. You will identify cost-saving opportunities, develop category plans, and work with clients and colleagues to implement IT strategies that meet business needs.

Responsibilities include delivering savings targets, maintaining procurement ethics, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ IT Sourcing experience in software licensing, hosted platforms/services, telecom/networks, data center, hardware, and related IT outsourcing.
• Demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major IT suppliers.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contracts with limited legal support.
• Ability to structure contracts with multiple schedules and attachments.
• Proven ability to identify savings and lead negotiations to achieve them.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with senior clients/stakeholders.
• Ability to quickly understand and apply new business concepts and governance models.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT sourcing projects end-to-end (HW, SW, SaaS, Network) aligned with timelines and service quality.
• Deliver savings targets and report savings achievements.
• Adhere to sourcing processes and contribute to policy development.
• Support non-IT categories as needed.
• Foster collaboration with client stakeholders and maintain engagement.
