Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee end-to-end software sourcing, licensing optimization and contract lifecycle management for enterprise software. You will lead complex negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and align with IT, Security and Legal to meet technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities include renewal management, cost savings through license optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive value and reduce risk

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Direct experience negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user, concurrent, consumption-based).
• Strong analytical capabilities – spend data, utilization metrics and TCO modeling.
• Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Smartsheets, Adobe, etc).
• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Flexera, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases and negotiate enterprise agreements.
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts and optimize terms.
• Analyze utilization to identify cost savings and license optimization.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders on requirements.
• Negotiate SaaS and perpetual license agreements, including pricing, SLAs, and data security.
• Maintain supplier relationships via reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
• Feed market intelligence to inform broader category strategy.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
