Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee end-to-end strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle for enterprise software. You will lead complex software negotiations, optimize licensing, and manage key supplier relationships to maximize value and minimize risk.

The role requires experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements, strong analytics, and collaboration with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management required.
• Direct experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription, perpetual, named user, concurrent, consumption-based).
• Strong analytical capabilities – comfortable with spend data, utilization metrics and TCO modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases – RFx processes and negotiating enterprise agreements.
• Own renewal management for existing software contracts with 90+ days pre-expiration reviews.
• Analyze utilization to identify cost savings via license optimization and consolidation.
• Partner with IT, Security, Legal and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers against requirements.
• Negotiate complex SaaS and perpetual licenses, including pricing, SLAs and data security terms.
• Maintain supplier relationships through reviews, performance tracking and issue resolution.
• Feed market intelligence back to inform broader category strategy.
