Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate development, private equity, investment banking or similar.
• Proven ability to source and advance acquisition opportunities.
• Ability to engage credibly with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Experience with vertical-market software or understanding of specialized software markets.
• Practical AI fluency and ability to apply AI to research, sourcing and workflow.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build the Investment Pipeline by identifying vertical-market software opportunities and assessing strategic fit.
• Develop trusted relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Advance investments by moving opportunities through evaluation, offers, and closing.
• Raise team capability by sharing feedback and leading by example in sourcing and evaluation.
• Improve workflows with AI-enabled tools and maintain strong CRM discipline.
