Job summary

HED seeks a Social Media Specialist in Boston to strengthen the firm’s digital presence by developing engaging content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms. You will translate firm priorities into audience-focused content and manage day-to-day social operations with a focus on brand voice and confidentiality.

You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Talent, and leaders to support recruiting and thought leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
3–5 years of professional social media or digital communications experience.
Experience managing social channels for a professional organization or brand.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with ability to simplify complex topics.
Strong visual judgment and experience with graphics, photography, and short-form video.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with firm priorities.
Manage presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms; publish and engage.
Collaborate with teams to source content and ensure brand consistency.
Write and edit social copy reflecting brand voice and priorities.
Coordinate assets (photos, graphics, video) with internal and external partners.
Adapt long-form content for social channels and support project milestones and recruiting.
