Job summary

Google is seeking a Director of Strategic Silicon Sourcing to lead the strategic sourcing and commercial management of critical silicon products and suppliers for Google’s internal and public cloud infrastructure.

You will partner with Platforms and Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Supply Chain Operations to secure optimal commercial outcomes, align roadmaps with Tier-1 foundries, and drive long-range planning to ensure multi-year supply for advanced nodes and bespoke process recipes.

Qualifications

• 15 years of leadership in the semiconductor industry.
• 15 years in engineering/engineering management or supply chain in technology or chip manufacturing.
• 10 years in silicon lifecycle, high-volume COT models and packaging technologies.
• 10 years negotiating multi-year silicon spends and supply agreements.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement long-term strategic sourcing plans for products and commodities, addressing market analysis and technology roadmaps.
• Lead high-stakes negotiations with key suppliers and manage complex contracts (pricing, capacity, quality, SLAs).
• Establish and monitor KPIs for strategic suppliers and drive continuous improvement and collaboration.
