Job summary

Meta's Infrastructure Supply Chain Engineering team in Menlo Park seeks a Commercial Sourcing Manager for Strategic Silicon to drive sourcing for silicon and firmware components. You will negotiate terms, lead new source qualification, and manage strategic vendor relationships with engineering partners and ODMs.

The role focuses on cross-functional collaboration, capacity planning, and risk mitigation to meet time-to-development goals while optimizing total landed cost for Meta's AI/data center

Qualifications

• Experience managing sourcing for silicon, firmware, and electronic components in a large-scale environment.
• Proven track record delivering cost optimization and supply continuity through supplier strategies.
• Experience partnering with ODMs, contract manufacturers, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for strategic silicon and firmware components, including vendor selection and contracting.
• Lead strategic supplier management across silicon vendors, IP licensors, and firmware partners with scorecards and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with engineering, ODMs, and capacity planning to influence component selection and cost-supply initiatives.
• Provide semiconductor market intelligence on technology evolution, fab dynamics, and supply-demand trends.
• Perform end-to-end sourcing execution: RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, prototype sourcing for NPI, and supplier development.
