Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to coordinate compliance, performance, and capability development across factory operations. The role drives CORP standards, interprets regulations, and advances SH&E systems to ensure robust, compliant operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field, 3+ years in manufacturing SH&E, knowledge of EPA/OSHA/DOT, ISO 14001/45001, and up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or SH&E in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead SHE governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Guide sites on policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Support audits, inspections, and gap closure.
• Manage environmental risk with safety and health risk frameworks.
• Drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 maturity across sites.
• Build site SH&E training and capability.
• Engage regulators, consultants, and suppliers.
