Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead Freedom Source procurement for Dallas-based projects. You will direct planning, coordination, and execution of complex supply chain initiatives, partnering with Operations, Estimating, and suppliers to optimize cost, schedule, quality, and risk.

The role involves strategic oversight of sourcing, vendor performance, and supplier relationships to ensure safe, efficient delivery and scalable procurement practices across Texas markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum eight years of progressive experience in construction procurement or project management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive results across multiple workstreams.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and procurement strategy.
• Proficiency with ERP and procurement platforms; Lean/IPD knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and management of supply chain strategies for complex projects.
• Develop procurement plans aligned with schedules, budgets, and client objectives.
• Oversee sourcing, procurement, logistics, and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Identify and mitigate procurement, schedule, cost, quality, and risk issues.
• Provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations on procurement status and supplier activity.
• Ensure activities comply with contractual requirements and internal standards.
