Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead two or more construction projects and drive overall management, estimating of work packages, and business opportunities within a defined client group or region.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 8+ years of project management experience, with strong leadership and communication skills. Must be able to work across multiple sites and manage budgets and schedules effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to multi-task with little supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through department heads or trade managers.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Act as liaison with prime client and architect/engineer contacts to facilitate construction activities.
• Assist in estimating specific work packages as they arise.
• Monitor and control construction to ensure schedule and budget compliance.
• Represent company in project meetings and strategy discussions.
• Review project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor usage.
• Create and maintain internal project schedules and submittal logs.
• Ensure timely completion of close-out documents per contract.
• Distribute contract documents to subcontractors and include addenda.
• Schedule construction meetings with all required participants.
