Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a full-time Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Coach to deliver SEM initiatives for industrial and commercial customers under utility programs. This role blends relationship building, engineering, and project management to drive energy savings and excellent service, while continuously improving SEM delivery.

Based in Des Moines, IA, you will collaborate with RI Energy Managers and Engineers to integrate SEM tools into client operations, lead cohort trainings, track

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or another applicable field.
• Strong communication, verbal, presentation, and written skills.
• Ability to travel up to ~20% of the time.
• Professional experience in the energy efficiency industry.
• Understanding of systems in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Support SEM programs to achieve energy savings goals.
• Lead virtual and onsite events to identify and prioritize energy reduction actions.
• Coach customers to integrate SEM tools and habits into existing business practices.
• Deliver cohort training and onsite facilitation, tracking, and reporting.
• Review energy performance results with the client, including models and AMI data.
• Provide timely technical and program feedback and deliver what you promise.
• Support development and validation of IPMVP Option C savings calculations and M&V documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SEM delivery and tools.
