Job summary

Resource Innovations in Madison, WI is seeking a full-time Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Coach to deliver SEM initiatives for industrial and commercial customers under utility programs. This role blends relationship building, engineering, and project management to drive energy savings and deliver training.

You will join RI’s energy team, work with an Energy Manager, lead cohort trainings and on-site facilitation, review performance data, and promote continuous improvement while supporting a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong communication, verbal, presentation and written skills.
• Ability to work with an experienced internal counterpart.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
• Professional experience in the energy efficiency industry.
• Understanding of systems in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and budgets.
• Able to distill complex ideas into concise conversations/emails.
• Travel up to ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Support SEM programs to achieve energy savings goals.
• Lead virtual and onsite events to identify and prioritize actions.
• Coach customers to integrate SEM tools and habits into business practices.
• Deliver cohort training and onsite facilitation, tracking and reporting.
• Review energy performance results with the client.
• Provide clear technical assistance and feedback, and address customer needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SEM delivery and tools.
