Job summary

Minutemen HR Management Services seeks a Self-Insured Claims Manager to own workers' compensation claims from start to finish and to support the VP of Self Insurance on internal employment matters. You will educate clients, advise on best practices, and help contain costs through effective claims management.

You'll review new injuries, treatment requests, and hearings, and coordinate settlements, subrogation, and client meetings to set claim strategy with the CRM.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office; strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Educational background: high school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in workers' compensation or claims management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns workers' compensation claims from start to finish.
• Educate, advise, and recommend best practices for claims management and cost containment.
• Review injuries, treatment requests, and hearing files; prepare settlements and subrogation actions.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on claim strategy and outcomes.
