Job summary

PMA Companies headquartered in Schaumburg, IL, seeks a skilled Client Service Manager to be the primary liaison for service, performance, maintenance, and account installation/orientation issues for assigned accounts. You will collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Risk Control to resolve challenges and reduce the total cost of risk.

Role requires six+ years in workers' compensation and casualty claims, plus a Bachelor’s degree; CPCU/AIC designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min six years of hands-on workers' compensation and casualty claims experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent blend of practical work experience and academics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving and client-service focus.
• Preferred AIC or CPCU designation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for service, performance, maintenance, and account orientation issues for assigned accounts.
• Lead onboarding for new accounts and act as central contact for service inquiries.
• Manage vendor partner utilization to maximize client outcomes and drive account improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely feedback to the service team based on emerging trends and engage internal departments as needed.
• Coordinate Stewardship and Claim Review meetings to optimize account performance and communication.
• Keep brokers and agents informed of service developments and involve them in client meetings.
• Explain PMA's claim handling philosophy and service capabilities to agents and clients.
• Support Underwriters in evaluating service costs by account during internal reviews.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, and Risk Control during account management activities.
• Prepare cohesive Stewardship reports with results and recommendations for decision-making.
