Job summary

Women In Need (Win) seeks a Security Director to lead safety and security operations across the organization in New York. The role focuses on developing and implementing robust security strategies to protect clients, employees, guests, facilities, and assets.

You will oversee Security Shift Supervisors, strengthen emergency preparedness, manage CCTV and access controls, lead investigations, and coordinate with law enforcement and partners to maintain safe environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of security or law enforcement management experience.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, incident management, and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect clients, staff, facilities, and assets.
• Lead and supervise security personnel, promoting accountability and high performance.
• Oversee physical security infrastructure including CCTV and access controls.
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills and staff training.
• Coordinate investigations with law enforcement and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security requirements.
• Manage security budget and resource allocation.
• Build partnerships with leadership, staff, community stakeholders, and partners.
