Women In Need, Inc. (Win) seeks an experienced Security Director to lead safety and security operations across the organization in New York. You will develop and implement comprehensive security strategies protecting clients, employees, guests, facilities, and assets.

You will oversee security staff, coordinate drills, manage budgets, and liaise with law enforcement to ensure compliance with NYS requirements. Strong leadership and bilingual skills are a plus.

Formación

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field, or 10+ years security management experience.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License required.
• Valid Fire Safety Director Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED required.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, emergency response procedures, crisis intervention, and incident management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead security teams and work effectively with at-risk and diverse populations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect clients, employees, guests, facilities, and assets.
• Lead, train, and supervise security personnel, including Security Shift Supervisors.
• Assess security risks and oversee physical security infrastructure including CCTV and access controls.
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate drills and staff training.
• Oversee investigations of security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Ensure security practices comply with local, state, and federal requirements and provide regular updates on security conditions.
• Manage the security budget and allocation of resources.
• Build partnerships with leadership, staff, community stakeholders, and external partners.
