Job summary

Compass Real Estate seeks a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting to join its Finance team in New York. You will prepare and review consolidated financial statements and footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings, and lead analyses for periodic reporting.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years at a Big 4 firm with public company exposure, plus CPA and strong US GAAP knowledge. This role is 100% in-office, with Compensation details provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 5-7 years’ experience in a Big 4 firm with public company exposure
• Direct experience with SEC reporting (Regulation S-X and S-K) and preparation of financial statements and footnotes

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses for periodic and ad hoc reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors on SEC filings and controls testing.
• Monitor SEC/FASB/PCAOB developments and document technical accounting positions.
