  • Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memoranda
  • Evaluate new accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting
  • Assist with accounting analysis for complex and non-routine transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, impairments, revenue recognition, leases, financing transactions, derivatives, guarantees, and foreign currency matters
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, Consolidations, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, M&A, and Business Finance teams on accounting and reporting matters
  • Support the maintenance and monitoring of internal controls over the external reporting process, including SOX 404 controls
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors to communicate accounting and reporting matters
  • Support the preparation and review of financial statement disclosures and other external reporting requirements
  • Assist with accounting research, peer reviews, and analysis of industry practices
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate SEC reporting and technical accounting processes through technology and data analytics
  • Support special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by accounting leadership
